How To Convert Fractional To Decimal Odds
As you’ll have noticed, the table above is pretty big, because it contains all the most commonly used fractional odds prices. But if you see a price that isn’t listed above, don’t worry. It’s quite easy to do the conversion yourself, using this simple formula.
Decimal = (Numerator / Denominator) +1
For those of you who don’t remember your high school maths lessons, the numerator is the first or top number in the fraction, the denominator is the second or bottom number.
So let’s look at an example of how this works. Let’s say you see the fractional price of 19/10 and you want to convert this to decimal odds. You can open your calculator app to help in case the calculations get too tricky to do in your head.
First, do 19/10 which equals 1.9. Then add 1, to give an equivalent decimal price of 2.9.
Simple as that!
