Key Features
One of the first things I look for when reviewing a new online casino is the game range available. Thankfully, Karamba ticks all the boxes in this respect. They offer an extensive range of games, and later on in this review, I’ll give you a breakdown of exactly what they offer.
Karamba Casinos are also notable for being one of the first online casinos to completely do away with transaction fees. This allows you to make deposits and withdrawals without any fees – a minor but worth-mentioning addition.
The only real negative to Karamba is that players from the United States aren’t able to join. However, after I did a bit of reading online it appears as though the company may be looking to penetrate the US market in the future. Stay tuned as I’ll update this review if and when this becomes reality.
Karamba Casino App / Website Design & Ease Of Use
The site is fairly well-designed, and the pop-out navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen allowed me to access different game types. I did have one complaint though – and it’s a real pet peeve of mine.
I simply cannot stand when an online casino loads an entire page of games automatically. When I was trying to access the site’s footer area it took me a good couple of minutes waiting for all the games to load before I could access it. It’s nothing major, and it’s unlikely to affect the gaming experience in any way, shape, or form, but I figured it was worth mentioning.
Karamba has developed mobile casino apps for Android and iPhone, and both of these apps perform very well on both old and new devices. This means you can play any of the games comfortably without slowing your phone down. This also gets rid of the page load complaint I had with the website, so if you have a smartphone the app may well be the way to go.
If you don’t want to download the app, their mobile-optimized website is more than sufficient and offers around 95% of their total game range.
Software
Karamba offers a decent range of software providers – and in total, they offer hundreds of games. Currently, the game developers available include Amaya, Aristocrat, Bally, Cryptologic, Microgaming, NeoGames, NetEnt, Quickspin, WMS, and Play’n Go.
I found that new providers are actively added a few times a year, so this is worth pointing out. I appreciate it’s not the largest selection of game developers on the planet, but I actually found it nice not to be overwhelmed for once!
Choice of Games
Another cool game I came across was Quickspin’s Wins of Fortune. Set in Asia, the game benefits from expanding reels – land four consecutive wins and you’ll trigger the Super Wins Re-Spins feature!
There’s also a decent selection of casino table games available at Karamba Casino, including the likes of Roulette, Blackjack, and 3-Card Poker. On the whole, I’m impressed with their offering and I’d recommend you give them a try if you’re looking for somewhere new to try out!
Banking – Deposit/Withdrawal Options
I was able to find VISA, MasterCard, Sofort Banking, Maestro, Paysafecard, ecoPayz, Entropay, Skrill, Neteller, Trustly, and EPS – and I hear that new banking options are added all the time. As I mentioned earlier there are no fees to make deposits and withdrawals, and deposits are credited to your account instantly – there’s no waiting around.
When it comes to withdrawals I found Karamba to be pretty quick. They aim to process all withdrawal requests within 48 hours, although in most cases it’s usually completed in under 24 hours. Of course, the actual time it takes for the funds to reach your account varies depending on which payment method you opt for, but as a general rule of thumb, you can expect to wait between 1-3 working days.
Safety and Security
Karamba Casino uses iTech labs to certify their games – they’re one of the largest regulators on the planet, and after seeing this I’d be perfectly content with playing at the casino!
I should also talk about licensing. Currently, Karamba Casino holds two online gambling licenses; one from the UK’s Gambling Commission and another from the Maltese Gaming Authority. Both of these online gambling regulators are hugely influential and make their licensees adhere to incredibly high standards. It also allows players from all over the world to play.
Customer Service/Support
While Karamba’s customer support portal does leave a lot to be desired, it is functional – I just find it a pain that they’re only open between certain hours. Currently, their hours of operation are 8 AM-1 AM CET.
By far the easiest way to get in touch with the team is to use the live chat facility. This connects you with an operator in just a couple of seconds and allows you to chat through your problems/questions in real-time. Currently, live chat support is only available in English. More languages may be rolled out in the future, however.
Karamba Casino also offers phone support – this is available during the same time frame. The number is toll-free, meaning you don’t need to worry about running up a bill to call it – although I’d still recommend using live chat where possible, as it’s just a lot easier (in my opinion.)
Finally, you can also contact the customer support team via email – although again, I’d personally recommend against this as you may be waiting up to 24 hours to receive a response.
Allowed Countries
Currently, the only sign-up restriction I was able to find was that players from the United States are not able to join Karamba.
Currencies
Currently, you can play with five different currencies at Karamba Casino. This includes AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, and USD.
