WagerWeb Sportsbook Sign-Up Process

WagerWeb app signup on mobile Although I have actually had my original online sportsbook account here for many years (since around 2004 I think) I recently signed up with WegerWeb again to see how the signup process works in 2024.

The process was straightforward and easy to follow.

  • First, I filled out my username and email address on the signup page.
  • Then, I chose a secure password that had to meet their criteria (it had to be at least eight characters long, and contain upper case and lower case letters, along with numbers).
  • Finally, I had to agree to their Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before being allowed access to the site.

Overall, opening an account was easy enough, and if you’ve ever used other online gaming sites, or even any e-commerce site, you’ll have no problems at all.

WagerWeb Sportsbook Bonuses

There is a choice of WagerWeb bonuses for new customers, with different rollover requirements.

You should be aware that these welcome bonuses are only available if you make your initial deposit via Bitcoin or MoneyGram. I used Bitcoin so was able to claim my choice of bonus.

  • 100% Welcome Cash Bonus (Max $500.00 – 15x Rollover)
  • 50% Welcome Cash Bonus (Max $1,000.00 – 12x Rollover)

If you take the high roller bonus, you’ll find the rollover requirements are lower. But for me, I was happy with the 100% bonus so I deposited $500 and played with $1000.

More Wagerweb Promotions

Like many online sportsbooks, WagerWeb also offers reload bonuses and other ongoing promotions for existing players. These can vary, but the following are generally always available and are most popular with players:

  • 30% Cash Reload Bonus (Min Deposit $75- Max Bonus $500. 12x rollover. Bitcoin only)
  • 20% Cash or 30% Free Play (Min Deposit $75 – Max Bonus $1,000. 10x rollover. PLUS get 1% cash back on the total volume. Available for all deposit methods)
  • Refer a Friend Bonus (Refer 1 friend and get 20% of their first deposit. Refer 2 friends and get 25% of their first deposits combined.)
  • Weekly Sportsbook Cashback (Get 1% cashback on volume every Monday, win or lose. Note that if you do not take the Elite Bonus in every deposit during the weekly period, you will not apply for the 1% cashback program.)

I’ve seen some punters say that they find these bonuses confusing. That wasn’t my experience, but if you do need any further explanation you can contact customer service at WagerWeb and they do a pretty good job of explaining things.

Different bonuses are also available if you choose to play at Wagerweb casino as well, but for the purposes of this review, I’ll stick to the offers at the Wagerweb betting site.

Sports Betting Options at WagerWeb

As soon as I got logged into my new WagerWeb account, I was impressed with the variety of sports betting options and betting lines available.

There were multiple football leagues from around the world to choose from, including NFL and college games. For basketball, I could choose from both NBA and international competitions. There was also plenty of hockey, golf, baseball, soccer, tennis, and other sports for me to wager on.

The betting lines offered at WagerWeb seemed quite varied as well. For example, I had the option to bet on specific teams or players for an individual game or match. But I could also place bets on totals, spreads, and money lines.

This gave me more flexibility when it came to deciding how much money to put down on a particular outcome. And if that wasn’t enough choice already, WagerWeb even offered live betting lines on most major sports leagues, plus prop bets, parlay, and teaser bets!

All in all, I was pleased with the selection of sports betting markets at WagerWeb – there was something for everyone and every possible outcome!

WagerWeb App on Mobile

Like many online sportsbooks these days, WagerWeb does not currently have a native mobile app.

However, they do provide a fully optimized mobile website for users to access their services on the go. This provides a similar experience to an app and is accessible from any device with internet access.

You can access all betting lines, live betting, deposits and withdrawals, and contact customer support directly from your mobile.

There are also mini mobile casino games specifically optimized for the small screen, plus a dedicated mobile racebook with easy instant wagering.

WagerWeb Betting Limits

The maximum bets and payouts at the WagerWeb sports betting site worked for me, although they may not for everyone.

I was able to choose from different limit levels for each bet I wanted to make, ranging from a minimum of $2 (for bets placed online) up to a maximum of around $3,000 per bet.

As a more recreational gambler myself, the limits in place gave me the flexibility to wager on pretty much any kind of outcome I wanted and allowed me to tailor my bets accordingly. However, it is clear that WagerWeb is aimed more at the casual punter and may not be the best option for high rollers.

The limits also varied depending on the individual sport or event. For example, the betting limits for football games were usually higher (around $4000) than those for other sports.

There is a maximum payout of $50,000 per event.

WagerWeb Payment Methods

WagerWeb sportsbook offers a choice of deposit methods, which are:

  1. Credit Card
  2. Bitcoin
  3. Bank Wire
  4. Cashier’s Check
  5. Money Transfers

However, they do stress that Bitcoin is the easiest method to use (which, to be fair, is true) and are keen to offer incentives for you to use it.

One such incentive is the free payout. Bitcoin payouts have no fees and can be requested any day of the week (including weekends). They also offer the fastest payout speed.

If you don’t use crypto, you can get your winnings paid via bank wire or cashier’s check, but fees are attached to these payment methods. So if you can do it with Bitcoin, you should!

WagerWeb Customer Support

WagerWeb Sportsbook provides comprehensive customer support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether you have questions about sports betting or technical issues with your account, their friendly and knowledgeable team of customer service agents is always available to help.

They can be contacted through email, telephone, or live chat for prompt and efficient assistance. Additionally, the website contains detailed FAQs and guides covering common topics such as deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, live betting rules, and more.

Is WagerWeb Sportsbook Legit?

Yes, WagerWeb Sportsbook is a legitimate online sportsbook. The company has been in operation since 1994 and is regulated by the Curacao Internet Gaming Association (CIGA).

They are based in Costa Rica and operate under what we all know is not the strictest of licenses, so like many other offshore online sportsbook operators, they should be judged on the basis of their reputation with players. This is generally good, and the fact they have been in business for so long bears this out.

They also have a solid reputation for customer service, fair play, and payouts. Additionally, WagerWeb Sportsbook is audited on an ongoing basis to ensure that all of its gaming activities are conducted in accordance with industry standards.

WagerWeb Sportsbook Review: Final Verdict

WagerWeb is a popular online sportsbook that has stood the test of time.

This is an offshore betting site that I still use periodically, alongside other leading offshore sportsbooks, allowing me to hunt around for the best odds and promotions. So I was happy to return to them for the purposes of my Wagerweb review and remind myself of just why I keep an account here.

Whether you’re looking for live betting lines, online casino games, or a poker room. WagerWeb offers what you need.

Their weaker points are probably the withdrawal options, and sports bettors who don’t use crypto might find it a lot harder to get satisfactory payouts. Also, the wagering limits might put off higher rollers.

But for most people, with a low minimum deposit amount, low minimum bet, solid sign-up bonus, and a good selection of betting markets (including live betting) WagerWeb sportsbook offers a good all-round service from a brand you can trust.
