EnergyBet Betting App Review 2021
EnergyBet is a popular online sportsbook, offering a wide variety of betting options from their website, including a huge variety of sports betting markets, live betting options – there’s even a dedicated online casino, so you can play your favourite casino table and slot games and more!
Our Rating: (4 / 5)
Popular online betting site, offering sportsbook and casino, both with UK licence. Good range of betting options, particularly strong in eSports. Recommended.
In this Energybet review I’m going to be giving you an in-depth look at what the site has to offer, including a look at all the EnergyBet betting options, the mobile apps, the payment methods you can use – I’ll even show you how, as player, you can get in touch with the site’s customer service team if need be. Let’s kick off with a look at the welcome offer.
EnergyBet App – Key Features
- Sportsbook & Casino in one account
- iOS and Android App
- Live Betting In-Play
- Range of Markets with Top Odds
- Choice of Payment Options
I really like how the sign-up process is super straightforward, and it takes no more than just 2-3 minutes to set up, create your account and verify your email address or phone number. From there, making deposits and actually placing bets is incredibly simple. As you’ll see for yourself should you choose to join EnergyBet, you’ll find that the overall user-navigation is excellent – something that EnergyBet has clearly invested heavily in.
EnergyBet offers a huge selection of betting options, covering sports and events from all over the planet. They offer betting on events round-the-clock, meaning that it doesn’t matter which type of sporting event you’re personally interested in – you’ll find it available at EnergyBet, and this is why I highly recommend the site to any of my readers.
I’ve tested the site myself – extensively – and they offer a fantastic playing and betting experience, along with simple welcome bonus offers, regular customer incentives and much more!
EnergyBet Sports Betting App / Mobile Website
I’ll be honest – when I was first starting to write this review of Energybet, I was a little surprised; the bookmaker has clearly taken a more minimalistic approach when compared to many of their other competitors. But that means the site runs faster than most, which is definitely a good thing.
I think it’s fair to say that they were keen to keep their famous yellow and black colour scheme in play here – something that they’ve managed to pull off pretty well, in my opinion.
What I was really happy to find was that the bookmaker have their very own mobile betting app. This app is available to customers and players on both iOS and Android devices, and there are no fees or charges to download the app.
The EnergyBet app has some pretty cool features. Especially the Match Tracker, which lets you shortlist matches or events you’re interested in. This is perfect for live betting. You can then get live updates on several events at once, manage your bets in-play and cash out.
As part of writing this EnergyBet review, I tested both versions of the app extensively – and found that everything, from accessing my bet slip to accessing the general online sports betting portal was easy, and the mobile app was fast, easy to use and responsive.
I also really like how the bonus offers and first deposit bonuses are available on the mobile app – and you can even access the Energybet customer service portal from the app, ensuring you can easily and quickly place your favourite bets, whether that be on virtual sports, or place late-night accumulator bet punts on foreign teams you’ve never heard off after a night out with your mates!
Markets & Betting Options
When it comes to betting markets, I was pleasantly surprised when looking at the range of sports I was able to place bets on at Energybet. Energy Bet has clearly done all they can to ensure that punters can access as many sports as possible – all found within their state-of-the-art sportsbook – and whether it’s live betting, horse racing, or more obscure markets, you’ll find it all at Energy Bet.
Below, I’m going to give you a breakdown of the different types of sports you’ll find at Energy Bet. You can find all of these from the top of the page where you’ll find the main breakdown of the sports markets on offer:
Currently, Energy Bet offers, in their sportsbook: Football, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Tennis, Baseball, Handball, Volleyball, American Football, Biathlon, MMA, Alpine Skiing, Aussie Rules Football, Auto Racing, Bowls, Boxing, Chess, Cricket, Cross Country Skiing, Cycling, Darts, Forumla 1, Gaelic Football, Futsal, Golf, Motorbikes, Olympics, Pesapallo, Poker, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Table Tennis, Snooker, Speedway and Sumo.
There’s also a solid selection of Greyhound racing for you to take advantage of – and, if I’m being completely honest, the number of betting options at Energy Bet really impressed be – and surpassed what I had expected to see at what, by all accounts, is a fairly new bookmaker.
All customers can access the various sports markets, and what I really like is that you can browse through a list of all the different sports markets available – detailed by colourful-looking icons – and then see how many different events or selections are available within that specific sport.
Customers can also search for events, players or leagues directly using the main search bar at Energy Bet, and this was a feature I really liked to see, as it meant I was able to easily and quickly access all of the events with ease.
I also want to talk about the odds. When it comes to odds, EnergyBet are known for offering some of the best in the sports betting industry, and whether it’s through their live streaming service – or the massive range of sports they offer – you’ll find the odds are much better than the odds offered at other sites.
Remember, when you’re looking at odds, you can always take a look at an odds comparison website. This is a great way of making sure that any odds you’re taking are the best odds out there – and these sites are impartial (usually), so the odds you’re seeing are, well and truly, the fairest odds out there across multiple betting sites.
Sports betting isn’t just restricted to conventional sports either; EnergyBet has also offered a variety of Esports betting markets, and this includes some major leagues including CS:GO and League of Legends. I also noticed that they’ve recently added Overwatch – adding even more options for customers to take advantage of. On the whole, the Energybet sportsbook is sufficient, and the addition of Esports and e sports events makes it even more appealing to punters from around the world.
I also really like that EnergyBet offers an online casino – in fact, it’s what made the company famous in the first place, and here, you’ll find everything from table games (like Roulette, Baccarat – and even Asian table games) – to casino games like video slots and live casino games. Players can enjoy all these casino games using their main EnergyBet betting account, and you don’t need to create a separate account in order to play!
EnergyBet’s excellence in customer service is well-known throughout the online gambling industry, and the site does a fantastic job of ensuring players are well-looked after at all times. In fact, both new and existing customers enjoy the same high-quality level of customer support, and the bookie have, in the past, even won awards for their customer service!
EnergyBet’s customer service team is available from Monday to Friday, 9:00-00:00 CET, and between the hours of 13:00-21:00 CET over the weekend. While I’d like to see them offering a round-the-clock support service, the team do an excellent job of resolving issues and queries promptly and this is mainly thanks to the fact that the site offers a stellar live chat portal.
This live chat portal allows you to speak with a member of the bookmaker’s customer support team within a matter of minutes. I tested the support as part of my EnergyBet review and foudn them to be very good.
Whether you’re a new Energybet customer or have been betting at the site for years, they’ll treat you with dignity, respect – and do their absolute best to help you out. I would always recommend using live chat over email or phone support as it’s much faster and much more reliable, but I should point out email and phone support isn’t bad – it just takes a little bit longer for your query to be resolved in most cases.
Banking – Deposit/Withdrawal Options
Supported Payment Methods: Bank Transfer, Credit Card (Not UK), EntroPay, Neteller, PaySafe, and Skrill
One of the first things I look at when reviewing a sportsbook is the variety of payment methods available to me. I’m pleased to say that EnergyBet offers a small but versatile selection of banking options for you to choose from – although I must point out that due to new regulations from the Gambling Commission, credit card payments are no longer accepted at the site.
You will find yourself able to use all major debit cards at Energybet – and as part of writing this Energybet review, I took the time to actually find out which debit cards they accept. You will find yourself able to use most VISA, MasterCard (debit) and Maestro cards at the site, and there are no fees attached with making deposit card deposits – or any of the deposit methods for that matter.
The number of payment options increases even further when you look at the EWallet options available to you, and I was pleased to see the bookie offering PayPal as a deposit/withdrawal method. This is fairly rare today, and few UK-based bookmakers still offer it due to PayPal really clamping down on which sites they allow to use their service. The fact that Energybet customers are able to use PayPal is a major plus point in my opinion, although I should point out; if you’re a new Energybet customer you may need to prove your identity before you’re able to use PayPal – or any of the payment options available for that matter.
Other banking options available include Neteller, Skrill and Paysafecard – and, in some circumstances, Energybet sportsbook will also let you make deposits and withdrawals using cheques and/or bank transfer. However, these options are generally reserved for punters staking larger amounts of money – or for those who can’t use conventional banking options – so I’d recommend using one of the other methods when funding or withdrawing money from your account.
All deposits are processed instantly (with the exception of Cheque and Bank Transfers), and limits are fairly high, coming in at £5,000 for most of the banking options available.
If you choose to use any payment method I’ve already mentioned, you’ll also be pleased to learn the withdrawal processing times are quick; Energybet aims to process all withdrawal requests within 48 hours, though, in my experience, it’s often much faster than this, with many withdrawals paid out on a same-day basis.
Safety and Security
EnergyBet is a fully-licensed online bookmaker, and whether you choose to use Energycasino or the Energybet sports area, you’ll be able to do safe in the knowledge that you’re playing at a site that’s won the global gaming awards – and that’s fully-licensed.
EnergyBet is owned and operated by a parent company called Probe Investments. They’re registered in the European Union, which ensures they adhere to strict regulations, and I’m pleased to say that – from my own personal experience, and from what I’ve read, time and time again, it’s incredibly rare that anything goes wrong while betting at the bookie.
They also hold two prestigious online gambling licenses – and again, these cover both Energycasino and the sportsbook area of the site. The first of these two licenses is issued by the UK Gambling Commission – the undisputed market leader when it comes to online gambling regulation. They’re also licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, and combined, these licenses allow Energybet bookmaker to offer their services to players – and punters – from all over the world.
Their sportsbook is also incredibly secure, as Energybet use state-of-the-art security technology to make sure customer details are safe, payments are secure and no data breaches can occur. Rest assured, if you play at EnergyBet – or indeed any site owned by Probe Investments Limited – you’ll have no issues in getting paid out, getting treated fairly and enjoying a solid online betting experience.

EnergyBet Betting App: The Final Word
EnergyBet is among one of the best-known betting sites out there, and when I was putting this EnergyBet review together I was happy to see that the sportsbook offers everything, from premier league betting and American markets. Even the colour scheme of the site looks great, and their other “gambling areas” like their live casino and the wide variety of casino games on offer ensures there’s something for everyone.
The user experience of EnergyBet is solid, and I found myself able to navigate around the betting site easily and quickly. For example, accessing the various betting markets – and viewing the odds – was easy, and it’s just the type of betting site I’d be interested in betting at myself.
A small minimum deposit, plenty of horse racing options and even some Esports markets mean that EnergyBet is now available to a wide variety of punters, and regardless of whether you’re looking for unique, rare markets or want to claim the best offers for new customers, you’ll find everything you could ever want at EnergyBet – and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a new bookie to start placing bets at.
